The Long Road to a Clean Building
This property has been the subject of a LUST case for many, many years under the purview of the District Department of Energy and the Environment. The responsible party for the cleanup of the building is BP, due to the fact that the contamination in the building originated from the gas station that was located just to the north of our site. (LUST CASE LINK) Due to the level of contamination in the building, the only safe way to remediate the contamination is to demolish the building and excavate and treat the soil. To that end, Kings Creek LLC filed for and received a raze permit on 12/9/2024. For a copy of the permit, click here.

Rodent and Dust Plan
As part of the demolition of the building, we will be monitoring both the dust coming from the building as well as monitoring rodent activity in and around our building. The dust plan can be found by clicking here. The rodent control plan can be found by clicking here. As the rodent traps are checked and baited, reports will be compiled here.
